Purified NK cells are now available from Astarte Biologics. NK cells are important effector cells in combating viral infections and neoplasms as they target cells that have lost or downregulated MHC class I. NK cells purified from normal PBMC are CD56+ and CD11c positive, CD3 negative. See NK Cells for further information.
